EEA2 LONG WAIT WHY??

lm Zimbabwean my partner is lrish. Surely l been waiting since the submission EEA2 on the 1st Dec 2008 till to today l havent received my RC. l did receive my COA 2weeks after my submission.
Has anyone waited this long? or anyone who has any information of the
procedure.. what can l do.. can anyone give me advise. HO asked for a lot
of infor. from my husband they even asked for his old passports in the past
30years, title deeds, and infor of how much tax and N.I he has paid and athey still demanded for the same things and more extra infor. l thought things were ment to be quicker last year but they are not.

Please can anyone give us ideas coz this has been a long wait.

Nothing new. By law they should have processed your application within 6 months but that never happens actualy. They have a never ending backlog of EEA applicatins so I suppose you will just have to wait it out.

If however you have had enough, you should contact SOLVIT. That can help in speeding up your application.

I have been waiting my R.C since oct 2008 it a bout 16 mths now, my partners received his R.C my my not yet as i received a lettre trought my solicitor tell me the will process my R.C as soon possible, but that was nov 2009.
to answer ur question we contact solvit and MP after that was only appologies lettre that s all and sometimes they just ask and ask... details. i think they ask ur hubby passp[ort for 30 years was just to check if he his or was british.
really going crasy about it.

to answer ur question about if was any hepl from the MP and Solvit!
yes it was.The MP wrote to them, and i received a lettre from the H.O saying they sorry for the delay that all, and will answer me ASAP, about 7 mths now since i received it, and contacted Solvit same answer sorry for the delay.
U can contact they but wont help nothing in my experience.
Juste wait and wait, hopefully we will get it oneday.

Please note that you can only contact your Partner's (EEA National) Solvit and they will contact their UK counterpart on your behalf. Talk about funny bureaucracy!
