    Hello everyone!

I need some help from fellow members.

I am a non-EEA national (pakistani) currently on student visa in UK which is expiring on January 2013. I wants to marry an EEA national (polish) girl whom I met two months ago when she came into UK for work, she is still looking for work. I am currently doing a full time job as I am waiting for my final result.

we are planning to get married in June or July this year, I've several questions starting from our marriage to Residence Card:-
    1) After getting marriage certificate, when can I apply for residence permit?
    2) what extra supporting documents I need to send other than mentioned in EEA-2 Form i.e, passports, marriage certificate, proof of address, wage slips, bank statements etc;?
    3) Do I need to show extra funds in my bank account before submitting my application, If yes, how much?
    4) When I'll get confirmation that my application has been received by UKBA and is under process now?
    5) Is it possible to submit my application for residence permit in person?
    6) Is it worthy to get the services of solicitor? If yes any recommendations.
    7) Could I still be able to work full time while my application is under consideration?
    8) Any suggestions to get early response from UKBA.

    Thanking you in anticipation.

    Regards,

    Zee.

Your right to be here as a spouse will be dependent on your wife exercising Treaty rights. This means that she needs to be working in order for you to get a residence card. As soon as she has a job AND you are married, you can apply. She doesn't need to be working full time, it just needs to be a job.

The only other thing I'd put in would be wedding photos, cards, letters from friends & family saying how happy they are for you - those show that the marriage is genuine.

    No.

You should get your confirmation within a month, and a decision within 6 months.

    No.

It depends entirely on how confident you are that you can prepare the application yourself.

Yes, EEA spouses get permission to work while the application is being considered.

Just make sure your application is as thorough and as full as you can make it, so they don't need to come back to you for further information.
