    hi members,

i got my eea family permit yesterday and thanks to all the members who shared their knowledge and making my application success without these forum i might not be successful. coming to the next point as i am non eea national with eea i would like to apply for the residence card (eea2) and show my spouse as a self sufficient dependant on me. my
question is how much should i show on average because its depends on the cost of living for eg if i rent a double room i can save more or if i rent a flat i cant save that much so do we have to show the balance sheet of expences in a month or just bank statements are enough how are they going to decide my application on what basis. finally how much should i earn in a month(an average).i know this question is answered before but its not clear on calculations so if u guys help me in this i would be greatful to you.

It depends. It helps if you earn enough to pay the rent plus 500 GBP per person. But as long as you work, you are covered by the EU right of free movement, and even on minimum wage you should not get refused.

    hi thsths

thanks for ur information it made me relax and one more question as it is already answered before and the law says the same but i need to clarify this from u that some eea nationals applied as self sufficient as their non eea spouse working but home office still asking for payslips of eea national ,comphrensive health insurance etc so what is the chance if i apply without them as the law says its not required but just give me ur suggestion please.
