    Hello all.

Good heavens, there is so much info here my head is swimming. Before my brain explodes I was just wondering if anybody had any info or advice for me.
The bottom line is I want to gain Polish citizenship. My grandmother, now deceased, was Polish. From what I can gather from her passport which I located, she emigrated here to the U.S. to escape the Nazi occupation in 1939.
If I indeed CAN at least attempt to gain citizenship through my blood relation with her, how do I obtain her birth certificate to begin the paperwork journey?
I know where she was born, in Blazowa.
    Any advice would be awesome.
