Risk advisor

Our client is a leading corporate service provider looking for a Risk Advisor to join their team. As a Risk Advisor, you will be part of a team of risk management and financial crime compliance specialists providing advisory services to both local and international financial services clients.


Responsibilities:

Lead and contribute to risk management advisory projects, including risk assessments, drafting/reviewing policies and procedures, and providing ongoing technical assistance to Executive's, Chief Risk Officers, and Risk functions.
Assist clients in developing risk analysis, stress testing simulations, and scenario analysis of their capital adequacy and liquidity capacity.
Provide expert guidance on internal processes, control frameworks, and regulatory obligations for licensed entities.
Plan, support and execute risk management projects to deliver beneficial outcomes for clients.

Requirements:

A university degree or equivalent qualification in finance, banking/financial services, business, economics,
accounting, risk management or a related area.
A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in financial services or financial institutions.
Knowledge of financial risks, compliance, fraud risk, and regulatory reporting.
Excellent report writing and communication skills in English.
Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards.
Ability to prioritize and deliver quality work to meet strict deadlines
