Hi,

I'm Brazilian and have been removed from the UK due to overstaying for 5 years, before that happened (last November) me and my Portuguese fiance were considering Civil Partnership, which didnt happen cause none of us could do it for financial reasons.

Now, we have decided to go to Portugal (since I am banned for a year from the uk) and get a Civil Partnership there and then applying for a EEA family permit through the British consulate.

I'm really unsure and worried about the process after all we are spending money into this with tickets and all. I would like to ask the following;

- Can my previous immigration status go againt me?

- What proofs would you guys recomend me to send with my application? (I though of pictures,my fiances payslips, an invite email to our friends for the wedding day etc)

- Will I be able to work as soon as I get to the UK?
