Hello and welcome to EasyExpat.com -

This topic is specifically dedicated to new comers in Chile. We invite you to introduce yourself here!

Why have you come here? Is it for internship? Studies? A job? Or simply in order to discover new lands?

If you have already secured a job, how did you find it? How long do you think you will stay in Chile?

How was your move? What happened for your first steps here? What was the easiest thing / the most difficult to adapt to?

Thanks in advance for your answers and here’s to a good discussion! :D

Re: Welcome wagon: Introduce yourself and greet newcomers.

Hello, I am Noëlle. I'm originally from the US, but Chile has been my home for 12 years. I recently received Chilean citizenship, so I am now a dual national. I am married to a Chilean, although we met after I had been living here for a while. I didn't move here because of him. We live in the capital, Santiago, with our 3 dogs and 3 cats.

I look forward to being able to help people with information about living in Chile.

    Hello everyone,

I'm Sergio from Brazil and have recently moved to Santiago. There are quite a few questions I haven't been able to answer so far and I would really appreciate if anyone here could be of some help.

    Thank you
