EEA4 - COA needed urgently but delays with the HO - H E L P

Postby lene76 » Wed Dec 16, 2009 11:18 am

hiya,

I send in the EEA4 form some 2.5 weeks ago and haven't received COA yet. Called HO and and HO told me today that it will be another 2-4 weeks until a caseworker will be assigned and my COA be sent. problem is - I have just lost my job but got an interview a couple of days ago and have now been offered the job (provided I can show I am entitled to work).

I need the COA therefore ASAP and not next year - otherwise I have to join the dole. Anybody been in the same situation. Any advise on how to get the HO moving?

I explained the situation to them but the just "appreciate" my situation but are not willing to help.

thanx,
lene
