    Dear Readers,

I am a EEA citizen and presently working in one of the Middle East countries i.e UAE. I have obtained a degree in Bachelor of commerce and have working knowledge as an Accounts Supervisor with 16 years experience in accountancy and finance in the middle east. I want to migrate to the UK and would like to know that with the years of experience in the middle east, would I be able to get a suitable accountancy job in the UK.

I have working knowledge of SAP, Microsft Great PLains accounting packages, working out Inventory ageing reports in excel, Receivables ageing report, been a part of the team in desiging Payroll system. Able to do pricing for products, Reviewing the purchase orders and releasing the same. Supporting the Finance Dept. with adhoc finance reports, liase with auditors to provide information required for finalisation of audit.

Would appreciate if you could let me know what else I need to do to meet the UK accounting standards
