I applied for residence card as a family member of an eea national(cousin) after i have submitted all the supporting documents, the immigration asked me to provide our parents birth certificates to confirm our relationship as my mother and my cousin's mother were born by the same mother but our parents don't have birth certificates.

My question is that is it acceptable to send to immigration the documents that shows the names of our mothers parents e.g quranic certificate ?
