Eea Family Permit VIsa Help Please!

Postby zuzia82 » Sat Apr 10, 2010 4:20 pm

Hello,
i need some advices. Recently i got married to indian guy. We know each other for more than 3 years but we got married in january 2010. As i am eu nation we decided that he will apply for eea family permit visa. We both were working in uk but when my husbands previous visa was about to expiry he went back to india. I joined him in november and we stayed there together till march. In mean time we got married. I lost my job in uk but he still has his job as is manager gave him letter saying that he will get job straight away when he will be back. We got all documents ready but visa was rejected.the reason was that our marriage certificate wasnt as a standard certificate, but we got all stamps and all signatures confirming that is an original certificate. We got special marriage certificate. Im trying to get polish certificate but i dont know if it will help? We are seperate right now for more than month and its killing me as i dont know what to do and how long all will take, what will happen when his visa will be rejected again?can someone please suggest what to do?

It seems that the only 'simple' requirement needed here is the standard marriage cert.?

An Indian friend of mine had same probs sometime ago but was sorted out, unfortunately He's not available at the moment to share with me his story.

However, your Husband may wish to ask folks in India how about to get the 'Standard Cert' and your worries would be over.
