Hotels and Bed and Breakfast in Madrid

When landing in a new country, you might need a more flexible accommodation for a few days at the beginning. The best option is to look for some hotels, hostels or B&B where you can continue extending your stay until you find your long-term accommodation.

The price of a three-star hotels starts from 65€ per night in the suburbs, and around 120€ per night in the city centre. However, prices for 5-star accommodation begin from approximately 350-400€ per night.

Bed & Breakfasts are priced similar to the hotels. The price of the room varies between 50€ and 90€ per night for a double room. Another alternative are apartment-hotels or short-term rentals that are comparatively about the same price (from 85-100€ a night) and offer more independence and the possibility to cook and save money on every meal.

Short term renting offers can be found through the property search websites listed in "Rent" and "Buy" sections.

Cheap apartment rental/area guide/info for Madrid
For short-term stays, this website is great for your airport transfer info, finding the right area in the city centre and apartments from 28 Euro per person per night.

I recommend Lavapies and Malasaña for the best laid-back bar scene, value eats and vintage shopping.
Madrid makes a great birthday citybreak destination!
