If an adult is interested in taking primary/lower secondary school and passing the final exams (grunnskoleeksamen), it is necessary to know Norwegian, English, mathematics, as well as two of the following three subjects: natural sciences, social sciences or religion.

The training may take 2 to 3 years. Preparatory courses are also available. After completing the courses, students will receive a Diploma that is equivalent to the Diploma of primary and lower secondary training and may apply to upper secondary school (videregafaende skole).

Offers both daytime and evening classes for students taking primary school classes in 2 years. Those who will need 3 years, will start classes in Oslo VO Rosenhof. Preparatory courses are offered both in Oslo VO Rosenhof, Smedstua and Skullerud.
