Hotels and Bed and Breakfast in Luxembourg

Tools:

Luxembourg has a large range of hotels as well as guesthouses and inns. Hotels in central Luxembourg tend to be quite expensive as bankers and well-off international travelers are their usual clientele. Many people choose to stay in nearby cities or countries, such as Trier. There are many resorts throughout the countryside.

Make sure to book ahead as conventions and events can quickly book up the best places. Downtown hotels start at 70 euro per night and vary immensely in quality and service.

B&B

A Bed & Breakfast can be an a refreshingly personal environment to explore a new city. Though a B&B may be more expensive then traditional hotels, occasionally they are cheaper then the surrounding locations given the inclusion of a meal and the luxury of the environment.

"Chambres pour Touristes" and "Zimmer frei" mark open rooms. Signs will often be posted out front of a B & B or in the window. The best search engines to find a cosy Bed & Breakfast are http://www.bedandbreakfast.com/ and http://www.gites.lu/.
