    Hello everyone,

    By living in Amsterdam you may have tips to give to those who wish to visit and stay on holiday in your area.

    When friends or family come to visit you, what activities do you offer in Amsterdam? Are you rather city, museum and monuments, or then change of scenery in the countryside and trekking?

    What are the essential places? What are your tips to better organize this stay in Amsterdam whether for a weekend or for a longer holiday.

    I have been to the Netherlands several times and am planning to visit with my family this Christmas. Anyone have tips for visiting at Christmas? Places we should visit? We heard Haarlem Hassan great market.

    Also, accomadations in Amsterdam are really pricey of course. We were thinking of staying outside the city. Anywhere to recommend?

    I have been living in the Netherlands for app. 3 years. There is a list of stuff you can do in Amsterdam :

    - Anne Frank House
    - Rijksmuseum
    - Van Gogh Museum
    - Vondelpark
    - Nxt Amsterdam
    - Ice bar Amsterdam
    - Upside down Amsterdam
    - Moco Museum

    and many more :)
