I'm planning on moving to Paris this september, and i'd like to find a job that would allow me to go to school, so an amount of 20 to 25 hours of work a week would be ideal. I thought that being a waiter i could possibly work that much and make some money, my question is, for people who have been waiters or waitresses in Paris, how much do you usually make a week? and working how many hours? what's the minimum rate per hour in France for waiters, and do you earn that money in cash or by check?

And regarding tips, how much can you take home a day in cash? i know that it isn't much in europe but i'm curious anyway, i mean, i really would like to know since that will be my job most likely while going to school.

    Thanks anyone in advance!

    :)
