    Hello.

I've been living in the UK now since 2009. I and my son (9) have dual citizenship with UK and US. My whole family will be visiting the US later this year but I wanted to know do BOTH I and my son need a current US passport or can he just travel with the rest of my family under mine?

    Thank you!

    Hello and welcome to EasyExpat.com
All the different people travelling need to have their own passports, even babies.

Hi Cyril, thank you for replying. The rest ofmy family have uk passports but only one son and myself have dual citizenship (2 passports each). Will my son with dual citizenship need to bring both passports or because we'llbe travelling as a family, will my US passport be the only US passport needed? Not sure if you know the answer....

You need only 1 passport per person to travel. You can all travel with UK passports, then it does not raise eyebrows. You can travel as tourists with right to stay up to 3 months.
