    Hello everybody,

I am new here. But I already want to ask something, because I am confused and need to find job as soon as possible.
I live in Bremen Germany, and I have been looking for a job for 7 months. But till this moment I haven't been called for an interview. I have made accounts in online-jobboersen such as stepstone.de, monster.de,dasauge.de and also at xing.com and eu.experteer.com.
I am a graphic designer and I am able to speak fluent english and bulgarian, but very little german.
Please, tell me what to do?

    Thank you.

Hi & welcome to EasyExpat! :D

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you have been having finding a job. A good place to start is with the Guide to Berlin which covers how to find work in Germany. It sounds like you are doing all the things you should be doing, with the one exception of speaking German. Have you considered language classes? That could definitely increase your hire ability.

Anyone else have tips? Best of luck!

Hi texkourgan and thank you for answering.
I have been to German classes at the beginning of my residence in the country. I have also graduated from the University of the Arts in Bremen. You know, speaking German is still not one of my strong sides ;) but I am trying to improve that.
Since I am here I have been given different suggestions and I have also worked a couple of times, but nothing for long enough and also nothing as a graphic designer, except maybe once, but it wasn't finalized the project I participated to, due to economical factors.
I will be happy to hear more from you, people.

    thanks.

Just one more thought - it is always an option to go into business for yourself. Many expats make a go of it & do quite well. I have friends that worked for a Tourism board in England, then started gaining freelance graphic design clientèle, eventually moving to Berlin to do the job full time. They have been at it for over a year and have been quite successful.

Anyhoo - just another idea. I am sure other leads & ideas are welcome!

Thank you, that is certainly something to start with, I have thought of it, and I am actually trying some things on http://www.designonclick.com/

Of course more ideas will be very welcome and I am expecting them.
