    Dear All,

    I am planning to get married to a Hungarian girl. I am studying in Hungary for more than 3 years now and we love each other.

    I am an Indian citizen. I want to know how can I get married to her here? Do I have to visit the Indian Embassy in Budapest? What legal papers do i have to organize?
    We want to marry before I finish my studies here because later it will be a problem to organize for a visa for myself.

    Please help me in this situation.

    Please contact the district office of the town in which you are a resident to ascertain the local marriage requirements. The district offices accept affidavits of civil status, birth certificates, and/or freedom to marry, and these documents can be obtained through the India Embassy in Budapest.

    Be prepared to present an original birth certificate(Passport will do), any previous divorce certificates, and other relevant documents that may be needed to get married.
