I was granted family reunification visa to join my wife in Germany.

According to the embassy, they stamp the visa for 3 three months which allows me to enter the country and then they will grant me residence visa.

Am i allowed to work in Germany during the first three months ? or Do i have to wait until German authorities grant me with residence visa?

While a guide to visas in Germany is included in the Guide to Berlin, I don't think it answers your question exactly. I found that you can work in Germany if the relative you are joining holds a residence permit authorising employment themselves, an EU Blue Card, or is in Germany as a researcher or a highly skilled person.

Does anyone have experience with this? Any info is appreciated!
