    Why have you come here? Is it for internship? Studies? A job? Or simply in order to discover new lands?

    If you have already secured a job, how did you find it? How long do you think you will stay in Albania ?

    How was your move? What happened for your first steps here? What was the easiest thing / the most difficult to adapt to?

    Hi All,
    I just found these Albania Forums and am anxious to identify any Americans already in residence in the country as expats or any who are considering Albania as an offshore destination for long-term residency. I'm an early retiree and would really appreciate the opportunity to communicate with any and all who can offer insights and advice on the subject. Hopefully whomever considers replying has enough credits to be able to respond via IM. Being a new user I'm unable to proactively send IMs to any users who look like they may be good candidates for direct contact. :(

    Unfortunately we don't have a lot of resources for Albania yet, but I recommend contacting expat blog http://albaniaorbust.blogspot.de/. She is currently in Belgium, but her experience living in Albania should be of help to you.

    You can also build your access by sharing more info or answering questions about your native country here on the forum.

    I look forward to hearing more from you and hope we can answer some questions for you :D
