Hi I am applying for a Fiancee visa for my girlfriend (Fiancee), we have both got engaged and have been together for a while. We will be getting marred early next year, it has been all booked and close family and friends have been invited.

I think we both meet all the requirements for the Fiancee visa however she has previously over stayed/been rejected a student visa. She did not over stay much it was just while duration student visa appeal was going on. She has been in the UK for 4 years now. she will be returning back to india

Will the rejected student visa affect us?

I am not to sure if she has overstayed as she was refused the student visa on financial terms, and did appeal, but it never got anywhere and was told to leave, which she has done.

Is their hope? everything else is fine and straight forward.
