Looking For British Expats in Florida For Research for Television Drama…


Hi there,

Are you a British Expat living in Florida? Would you like to help us out with our script research for a television drama?


Big Talk Productions – the film and TV production company behind Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, The World’s End, Rev., A Young Doctors Notebook – are in the very early stages of developing a television drama which features British expats living in Florida. We place a huge emphasis on research process for our shows in order to be able to write authentic and believable storylines, and are looking for anyone who might be willing to chat to us about their experiences of being an expat. We’d love to hear people’s stories: what motivated you to relocate to Florida, what was involved in getting there, how its been settling in, if you’ve come up against any problems, how your new life compares to your old life, etc, etc.

We’re particularly interested in hearing from anyone who relocated with their family and children, and anyone who might have started their own business up in Florida.
