actually, i was born in France, only i have lived in England for a while and also, i went to the usa a few times. Well, i am currently living in Paris, and am a computer specialist(i just couldn't think of a more accurate word to come up with) ). Anyway, enough talking about me for now, so how about you? Do you also live in Paris at the moment? i thought i also read on another thread that you spoke german as well, is that true? Right now i am learning the Ukrainian language, although i'd be very interested in meeting people and share my knowledge of english)

that's funny you're learning Ukrianian. I was supposed to go to Kiev last week for my job but had to cancell because they didin't want me during "the events". I will probably go next spring. my field is health but I'm not a doctor.
I live in paris, though I'm out of Paris this week because of those christmas things.

What about you -- where from in France?

I've always wanted to go to Ukraine/Russia. Do European citizens have to get special visas to visit? It's can be a real process in the US.

I was born in Bordeaux and am in Paris since.....so long now but I like Paris. Could be cool to here you talk to us about the big apple !!!!!

do you enjoy Paris ? I think you should read "one year in the *****", funny book about us, strange frenchies in Paris ! The book was written by an english man who spent one year in paris.

About Ukraine, people from UE can have tourist visa with a letter of invitation from someone in Ukraine. It's always complcated with countries of the former USSR.

Bordeaux, huh? I've never been. Really need to see more of France outside of Paris and Nice. On New York, it was really a great experience... I'd be happy to tell all, as long as I can get an earful on Bordeaux. Have you ever been to NY? And do you miss Bordeaux?

I'll see if I can find a copy of that book. Frenchies can be tough to decipher for us out-of-towners, and not solely because of the language!

And nab, although I don't have messenger, I'd be open to getting it, and the one hour french/english sounds like a good framework. What do you think, alexa, real cola, and whoever else is in? Would be good to get this started during the holidays if we can.

this is funny because actually, Bordeaux is my hometown. Not that i lived there very long, indeed i was living by the central Bordeaux area by the time i was attending university only. Nevertheless i spent the whole of my childhood in towns or villages that are closed to Bordeaux area.
Well, the idea of the whole of us getting together on messenger sounds much fun, only, i won't be able to join until next year as i am coming back to Bordeaux for X-mas holidays though.... .
