    Bonsoir,
    une famille au pair m'a contacter suite à l'annonce de recherche d'une famille au pair.
    nous avons discutés et il m'a dit de contacter une agence qui est: BEST OPTION TRAVEL AGENCY et cette agence me demande 300 livres de frais.

    je voudrais savoir si elle est fiable en effet je ne trouve aucune information de cette agence sur internet.
    j'ai peur de me faire arnaquer.

    C'est difficile à dire, ceci dit il y a quelques éléments:
    - cette agence a t'elle un site web complet ? :arrow: pas trouvé
    - Y a t'il une autre référence ? :arrow: oui, un profil Facebook qui n'inspire pas trop confiance: c'est une agence de voyage, pas spécialisé dans la placement au pair, en tête fouillis... etc. Sinon rien d'autre...

    Je proposerais plutôt mes service au pair a une agence ayant une vitrine et des services déjà connu, et ne demandant pas £300 directement (mais il y a toujours des frais de dossier/de placement). Tu trouveras plus de renseignements dans notre article sur Au Pair à Londres (notamment des liens avec les organismes internationaux).

    Tu peux aussi poster ton annonce dans les offres au pair à Londres sur le site.

    Je vous remercie beaucoup de votre réponse.
    Je reste sur mes gardes et je n'enverrai pas l'argent maintenant. Il faut d'abord que je m'assure de leur fiabilité.

    I reveived in 2013, March, the similar proposal than you. One family contacted me and then he said to contact the Best Option Travel Agency.
    But I couldn't find anything about them. And now you say that.
    I'm worry....and try to search something about them.

    Did you find more anything about them? Please contacted me and lets to change informations.

    How are you?
    you also have dealt with them? for several weeks we speak. He sold me a dream. And at the end he asked me for money and I had to send it through western union.
    Fortunately I am a curious girl (without bragging :D ).
    I told them ais why should I pay to work? bring me proof of documents'm saying you did and sign. more how come I can not find anything about you and it dissant travel agency? Address does not exist on google and the agency has no reliable site. I want you to prove me wrong please.

    When I said that their ais they never answered me and disappeared.
    I was glad not to be falling into the trap but disappointed because my dream to find an au pair family flew sniffff :cry: .

    Restrer be very careful. Must be made aware of and ask for proof ..

    I talked with a family host, and then they indicated me this agency.
    According to them, this is the cost of the travel and other procedures.
    I hope it won't be a ilusion :(

    But I won't give them money without I'll sure about this information.

    Do you have more some information about them?

    Well one just have to trust her instinct when it comes to issues like this. I got a similar offer to do an Au Pair job in London last year and I was told to contact an agency by my Host family. I was scared of loosing my hard earned money as well as the genuity of the agency.

    Also, I got different messages on the forum warning me about a possibility of Scam and loosing my money. But I discovered my Host family is real, nice and very honest with their appraoch.

    So I trust my instinct by paying the agency, though the risk was very high for me but today i am doing my dream job in a great family in London. The agency was genuine and helped me with the papers. I thank God for trusting my instinct and fulfilling my interest. So, sometimes it is not all the jobs and agency that are fake. One have to be careful sometimes otherwise one will miss a golden opportunity.

    Going through an agency is very different form paying directly the family for dodgy expenses. You have many reliable agencies with well know and easily checkable business that you can use.
