    1. Does anyone have a list of all the IT services companies established in the UAE: international, local, old and young ones?

    2. What's the average salary of an IT developer/programmer in the UAE (junior engineer)?

    3. What about the GIS field?

    very few IT jobs here, most are not published, people sponsorize their friends and take control of companies.
    thats how it is....
    I suggest you to look in Europe/USA/Canada/Australia, they will give you your chance if you are good and if you speak good English
