    Hi,

We are interested by your feedback on the cost of living in Ukraine. With Easy Expat we have already a useful tool to compare the cost of living in some major cities in the world.

However we do not cover all the countries, nor all the destination where you can eventually decide to expatriate.

If you live in Ukraine, you can help the community and give information about the cost of living in Ukraine. You might be able to give indication and comments on the needs:
 Food (what to expect, what to find).
 Accommodation price in Ukraine. Rent?
 Transport (public transport but also the necessity and cost of using a car)
 Services (gaz, electricity, telephone, internet...)
    Tax
    Health, Education
    Entertainment (restaurant, cinema, theatre...)
    ... etc.

Thanks in advance for sharing your experience with the community

I have an interest in living in Ukraine, but the last time I lived there was four years ago. I lived there for a year the last time I was there in a city called Poltava. I would be reluctant to comment on certain costs since Ukraine has had fairly substantial inflation for the last few years -- about 10 percent a year. But I will weigh in at certain times on more general questions about Ukraine, should there be inquiries wherein I feel qualified to comment. I intend to return for at least a month or two later in the year as well.

Thanks for your comment and welcome on EasyExpat.

What amazed me most last time I went to Kiev (apart from the girls ;-) ) was to see the number of Porshe (often Cayenne) and BMW parked in the city centre while at the same time I was told that some people, living in the suburb and working as nurses or in reception can make only $200/month.

The professors in the preparatory faculty for foreign students at Technical University in Poltava where I took Russian for six months made $450 a month!
