    So, I've been in Paris for over a year now, but I find it hard to make friends. I find it a little bit complicated to make french friends - I can speak french, but I'm not fully comfortable with the language, so I can't really make jokes and be myself. The friends that I used to have all left (they were all foreigners staying here for a limited time) and now I'm all alone again and it's kind of very hard, actually.
    I'm 25, brazilian, looking for friends of any nationality or gender to just... hang out, go to the movies, have a drink, talk.

    so, you can reply to this message with your email or something, and it would be lovely to meet some new people.

    I guess I should add that I speak portuguese, english, and some french.

    Hi Mila! It is indeed hard to make friends in a new place. Luckily there is a a thread with at least one person looking for a speaking partner/friend friends-paris-t1897-40.html.

    There is also a site called "meet-up" that helps people find social groups & there is groups that meet in Paris: http://www.meetup.com/cities/fr/paris/

    Hi Mila, I'm here since one month and something, and I've to admit, it's not that easy to make new friendship here.
    It would be a pleasure to meet new people to go out together or just to have some conversation about some feeling here, in this new city.
    A part of this, I'm looking for some places where to do some activities (I was looking for some courses about drawing, dance, or similar), but I'd like to go with some people I already know: is there anyone interested?

    PS: I'm 29, I'm Italian and I lived three years in Spain (I speak fluently Spanish)

    Thank you so much for all the replies. I've joined the meetup website, it's really a nice place, i recommend it to anyone who's looking to make some new friends.
