I am an italian citizen and i will study in uk for 12 months (master degree). My wife (brazilian citizen) requested for an eea family permit visa, as she will live with me at uk and also study during the12 months period.

The visa was granted, but for a 6 months period. However, we will live in uk for 12 months. How should i proceed to renew or request a 6 months extension to her visa?

Note that we will move to uk on august 2010 and her visa is valid up to february, however, we will live and study in uk up to august 2011.
