Can a visitor change status inside the u.k. To a dependent of a prospective student with the flr(o) form? The prospective student will be applying from their home country. I haven't seen the answer to this from researching online.

It appears that it can be done, contradicting what i've been told from various people, but i am having trouble confirming this. I am a prospective student applying from my home country and my husband would be applying from within the u.k. As a dependent of mine.

As i understand it, the prospective student visa is a category under the visitor's visa. My husband is currently a visitor, so he may not be switching categories. I'll check it out...
