    Hello,

    Thank you for taking the time to answer my question!

    I am a non-EEA national, married to an EEA national. I have received my EEA Permit now and we are both thinking of moving to the UK to find work.

    My question is this:
    When I apply for the UK residence permit, which I believe takes 10 working days, am I allowed to work on it?

    You are already allowed to work on your EEA Family Permit. Once this is about to expire, you can apply for your 5 years residence card ( EEA2 )
    and that can take upto six months to be processed.

    But you are allowed to work all the way, there is no restriction on your work so I don't know what makes you ask this question.
