    Can someone help please ?

    I am realy stressed.

I am in uk for the last 10 years > i am an indian citizen and i got married to an EU (italian) citizen in UK > and we are together for nearly 6 years now.

Now when we got married i had student visa and when i moved in with my husband we changed it to dependent visa (5 years visa FMRS i think) > now my visa expired in July 09 and we knew we had to apply for permanent residence and it takes a long time so we made an application on march 09 to home office and they have send us a letter back saying we have got ur details and this will usually take 6 months but its now December and they have not done anything.

Now the main part, they have returned my passports with a letter saying i am allowed to travel but i have to get eea FAMIY PERMIT from the country where i am travelling to if i wish to return.

So now i am travelling to India and i am goign to apply for the permit.
    i am taking >
    - Payslips (2 payslips for a year - mid and end of year for last 5 years)
    - Employer Letters
    - Marriage Certificate
    - Letters from bank for mortgage

Now i am worried as some payslips are msising, some mortage stametns are missing as we have already send it them to home office and my mistake that i did not photocopy them Sad.

So would there be a problem for the permit and how long will it take ?
Can you please help me ?

    Regards
    Charmy

I don't like the idea at all. If you were travelling to some EU country, then it wouldn't be much of a problem but remember that if you apply for EEA Family Permit from outside EU, it would be the normal immigration rules that you will have to meet in order to get a visa which means it can take ages and will definitely be a huge headache.

If I were you, I wouldn't travel. I would suggest you rather wait for your permanent residence.

    Good Luck
