    Hello,

My husband just received his residence card (5 years, eea2). His passport will expire in 2011, well before the end of the Residence card. Do we need to transfer it when he gets a new passport, meaning making a whole new application...? Or can we just travel with his old passport and his new one?

Does anybody have an experience of this?

    Thanks!!
    VL

    Either.

He can either resubmit form EEA2 or simply carry both the expired and the new passport.
