Hi, my question may be a bit complicated, but it seems it always is with immigration, so here it goes:

I am a US citizen living in the UK with a family visa that expires in 2 years (was married to a EU citizen, now divorced). In the period since my divorce I met someone and now she is expecting a baby in November this year. She is a EU national. We want to get married and I work full time with an UK company. I would be in the UK for 5 years in 2010. The main questions are:

1- what nationality will the baby be if I am a US citizen and my partner is Czech and the baby will be born in the UK

2- what do I need to do to apply for EU citizenship / UK citizenship

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Frankie,

    Using your numbering:

    1. US citizen, Czech citizen, British citizen if mother resident in the UK for at least 5 years at the time of the child's birth.

    2. For yourself or the child?
