Hi, I'm a South African with a UK unmarried partnership visa. I've heard that if I travel with my partner to Europe I don't need a Shengan visa. Does anyone have any info. regarding this??? We are planning to sail around the Med in May 2010, will the same rules apply with sailing from port to port as flying around Europe. Any help will be appreciated.

You don't need a visa, but you may be denied boarding the aircraft or ship if you do not have one.

    Better get one. It's free.
