    Hi!
Before asking my questions about the documents to provide, I would like to explain quickly my situation so that you could tell me if I am making a mistake somewhere in getting the EEA Family Permit's procedure.

I am French(so EEA national) and my wife is japanese. We have the plan to go to England in september. I am currently in France, just came back from Japan, and she is in Japan working until June. She will come to France in June or July and we want to go in september together to the UK. If she is accepted by the university she applied to, she will be studying.

I am looking for jobs in England right now. Whether I find a job until september or not, we would still like to go as we have enough savings to support ourself until I find a job.

So we started to work on the EEA Family Permit so she can enter the UK with me. We thought that whether I have a job or not at that time, as I am a EEA national, I could still have the right to enter the UK but it would be difficult for her as she is Japanese (she wouldnt be able to stay more than 3 months and wouldnt have some rights that I have).
If she has the EEA Family Permit she would be able to go with me, isn't it? :)

We checked and are gathering the documents to join to the VAF5 form.

Here are the questions about the documents:

To show that we have enough savings (around 30000 euros), should I make a copy of my bank account and hers?(showing the amounts).

I have the documents proving we are married since 2007. I have the ones in French and also in Japanese. Do I need to make them translated or is it ok to just make a copy of them like that? I guess they have translators.

About my wife 's situation, it says: "Evidence of your current employment/self employment/occupation/work/studies/other means of support".
But does she really need to get a paper proving that she is currenlty working in Japan?

I also have to join my birth certificate, but its in french. Can I join it in French or do i need to translate it?

I would really be so grateful for any remarks and/or helps about my case, and answers to my questions,

As my wife needs to apply now for the EEA Family Permit, it would be a very grate help if somebody could tell me if we are doing the procedure correctly.

Thank you so much in advance,

    All the best,

    Stephane

Within a few days we have to finish filling up the form but still are wondering about some things,
