If like us you are fed-up by the time to process EEA4 applications (our application has been at the home office for almost 4 months now), you may want to take action and sign the petition created on this subject on the ePetition website of 10 Downing Street:

    http://petitions.number10.gov.uk/EEA4-Residency/

This petition asks the Prime Minister to take adequate measures to reduce the timeframe to process applications for residency for spouse of EU/EEA citizen from 6 months to 6 weeks.

    Thanks for supporting this petition.

    Regards. Eric

7 month gone. Sent reminder this week with regards to breach of EU regulation 2004/58/EC. I also passed the matter to my local Member of Parliament.

I will let you know if I can get any success.

    Cheers. Eric

I wrote to my local MP on Sunday and received a letter today telling me that he had referred the matter to the Chief Executive of the Immigration and Border Agency.

Here is how you can find your local MP:

I will update this board as there is any new developments. Good luck everybody and thanks to all of you who have joined the petition.

    Cheers. Eric

    Progress update

4th May received letter from UK Border Agency's workflow manager that Case Worker would be allocated.

8 May, received request for additional info. Requested info will be sent tomorrow morning by recorded post.

Hopefully this means, we are getting close to resolution.

    Cheers. Eric
