An EEA Family permit is absolutely free and should be processed on a priority basis. However this 'priority basis' has no legal time frame and seems to be at the embassy's discretion.

Hi!I m from pakistan living in uk for 3 years,I m current in uk and working only 10-15 hours a week,my status is student....I married with polish citizen in uk...she is livin in uk for 2 years...I need to Apply for eu resident stamp.I need to know that homeoffice make new rule that "there should be atleast 800 pounds in account for last 3 months to apply for settlement via"so i need to know i m applying for eu family stamp so IS THIS LAW IMPLEMENT IN MY CASE ALSO?Secondly i need to know:When i apply for Eu resident stamp,i also need my bank statement to submit with application form or my wife statement is only need???IF anyone plz give me accurate info abt my 2 questions...i will be Very thankfull...cheers

You are going to wait for a long, long, long and very long time.

According to DIRECTIVE 2004/58/EC Article 10 the UK border agency shall process your application within 6 months, however the UK government casually disregard their legal obligations preventing thousands of people of the basic right to travel and meet their families. Do they care? absolutely not, we are only foreigner after all .....
