    hello

    i just wanted to know what economically self-sufficient really means?

    im married to an Italian and want to apply for my eea2 but the only problem is that he hasnt been working for the last 6 months

    i was on a student visa in uk which has expired a few months ago but i still work 20 hours plus i receive enough money from my parents to support both of us is that good enough

    Basically it should mean that you have/get enough money to support yourself/family without becoming an unreasonable burden to the state, i.e. you would need public funds to have enough money. I do not know what HO's stance is on income through parents, etc.

    One point I forgot is comprehensive sickness insurance. HO believes that you are not covered by NHS if you are self-sufficient. NHS seems to think otherwise.

    Hi,

    I'm new on this forum and i need help. I'm selfemployed since september last year and now i want to apply for yellow card and my husband as dependent of me for blue card and we need to have Comprehensive Sickness Insurance and we don't know which is the best and the cheap.

    I forgot to say we are from Romania and we have a special policy for apply to yellow and blue card

    I hope to understand what i mean

    my best site for comprehensive sickness insurance is www.activequote.com they offer me £20 per month for full insurance. my friend was only £18 per month.
