    Hi

I am South African and am currently in the UK on a student visa and my partner is also South African but has an Irish passport. How do we go about getting married? Do we need to go back to SA to get married and then what is the procedure from there?

    Please help

    Hi ab.

You won't need to go back to SA. You'll need to apply for a Certificate of Approval and can then get married in the UK. (I'm South African, my wife Hungarian and we did the same)
