1) No, you can just fly in and that's it.

2) EEA2 is for non-EEA family members. EEA1 for EEA and Swiss nationals. You can apply for a residence certificate if you want but it's totally optional.

3) You need a job (offer) or at least need to demonstrate that you are actively searching for one. Then you call a particular number from Jobcentre Plus and arrange an appointment

4) Immediately provided you have a job already that is.

5) Passport needed unless you have a national ID which may be accepted by the UK (I don't know about that). You can keep your passport.

6) No. Same rights as British nationals.


To sum up: Nothing to worry about. Maybe even easier than to move to another canton (just kidding, I have no idea about that stuff...)

 

You can travel to the UK with your ID card as well. My husband is Swiss and travels within Europe with his machine readable ID card. But do keep your passport updated for long haul flights.
