    In August, my husband and I filed out I-130 form, in order to start the process of my moving to live with him in New York. We are being processed through the Vermont Service Centre. Has anyone recently gone through this process and knows when we should expect to hear back from them about what our next steps are?

    I am in the same thing, we filled around july and are still waiting, it's taking 6 months usually, more and less. I know it's long, but believe me I know how you feel. I am trying to come and visit my husband in the states as much as I can with my visawaiver, but even with this you have the risk to be sent back.
