I have a dual Irish/British nationality (Irish by Descent) and was born in Britain. I am currently working in the UK and I am settled there. My wife is from Canada and wishes to come and settle with me in the UK.

Am I eligible for this EEA Permit?

Because I read in an article , that gives me doubts of it's initial success

''In some circumstances ECO’s are also demanding that the Irish national and there partner have lived in another member state for six months before allowing the application – this is not a universal policy but differs from UK mission to mission. It is also unlawful and liable to be overturned at appeal.''

You are eligible to bring your wife in on an EEA permit.
