    Hi,

    Im married to eu national(lithuania). She has been here for 4 years now. Applied for WRS last year. Question is.

    1.Does she need to apply for EEA1 in order for me to apply for EEA2 or she may apply for eea3 when it comes to 5 years since she's been here? Im on a student visa and will be applying for EEA2 soon. HO says that Eu national doesnt have to apply for eea1 registration card.
    2. If she can apply for PR, can i apply as well? or do i have to wait for 5 years on EEA2 residence card?

    That is correct. But she needs to have completed the 12 months under WRS, or there will be restrictions for you.

    No, you have to be married and in the UK for 5 years before you can apply for PR.

    If time is essential, you could also switch to a settlement visa under UK law once she has PR, but that can be difficult and expensive.

    Hi thsths, she is registered with wrs. and has completed that time fram 12 months. so she also needs to apply for eea1? if she is not going to will it affect my eea application.
