    HI,
I and my wife are about to send our EEA1 & 2 application to the home office and before that is done i would like a bit of advise from you guys.my wife worked for a private employer for 12months as a nanny and she only got paid by cash.meaning....no tax or NI contributions.she actually worked part-time somewhere for 2months and she was taxed, but not in her nanny job.the question is;will they see a letter from her employer as a genuine proof of employment?she also has in her possesion a registration certificate allowing her to work for the employer.
Thanks guys, you are all doing a good job here!

    good luck!

    Dude,
this is quite a pickle...! As your partner doesn't have a proof that she is "exercising her treaty rights" then its hard, almost impossible for home office to track her presence in UK.She might not be even living in the UK, they can say.

You should have or should now register her as self employed start paying NI and at the end of financial year pay taxes.

I mean you can try sending the applications and see what they say.
