Myself and our kids are in the UK on a 6 month EEA family permit. Believe I need to submit an EEA2 application. My problem is my husband is a pilot with an airline based in Heathrow. I can't submit his passport with the application as he needs it on a daily basis. He does not have an ID card either. What do I do? Will they accept an application with a certified copy of the passport? He is new to the company so it's not like he can take leave yet while he waits for his passport to return. Any advice?

 

Thanks. When he is back in town, I think I will haul him off to get the registration certificate. The ID will probably take longer to get than the residence card! But thanks for advice, will also add a certified copy to the application.
