✎ EN EEA2 application - husband a pilot!

    Myself and our kids are in the UK on a 6 month EEA family permit. Believe I need to submit an EEA2 application. My problem is my husband is a pilot with an airline based in Heathrow. I can't submit his passport with the application as he needs it on a daily basis. He does not have an ID card either. What do I do? Will they accept an application with a certified copy of the passport? He is new to the company so it's not like he can take leave yet while he waits for his passport to return. Any advice?

    I would try, it might just work. If not, he should probably apply for a Registration Certificate in person, which should only take a day.

    And I think he should probably get an ID card, just in case.

    Thanks. When he is back in town, I think I will haul him off to get the registration certificate. The ID will probably take longer to get than the residence card! But thanks for advice, will also add a certified copy to the application.
