    Hi everybody;
    We decided to get married with my love :D (after 2 years great relation:)
    She is Polish and I'm Turkish. We will live in poland, but she is currently student at a university in England, and have 1 more year to graduate :(

    We don't want to wait 1 year to meet in Poland. my question is; if we get married in Turkey and apply for Residence Permit in Poland, can I travel to UK with my Polish Residence Permit? is it giving me travel permit in EU countries, especially to UK?

    thanks for answers friends :)

    If you get married, you can apply for an EEA Family Permit at the British consulate, and then you can live with your spouse in the UK. There are some restrictions in place for new member states of the EU (such as Poland), and I cannot tell you the exact details.

    Getting a Polish residence permit may be difficult as long as your spouse is not living in Poland. Also it is only valid in Poland, and maybe for a visit to other Schengen countries (which the UK is not).

    You can apply for Polish residence permit in Turkey or UK in the Polish embassy but that will take at least six months. You can't however travel to UK with a polish residence card. Its valid for short visit to Schengen states but UK doesn't accept it as thsths mentioned.

    thanks for answers, friends...
    so it will not be so easy to be together with my gf :(

    EEA Family Permit is the only way as i see, but it is something what will take pretty long time, over 6months... so it is only nonsense for us, cos in a year we already will be moved to poland... isnt there any other way for us? i was thinking at least Schengen would be ok from Poland, but as i see, no way!

    is there anything what u can advise?
    i do thank all you very much/...
