Hi, I;m new to this forum and wondering if anyone can help me.

I'm from the UK and I'm married to a Tunisian, he is in the UK on his 2 year spousal visa but we're wanting to relocate to France. He has his schegn visa and I've been in touch with the French consulate about applying for a long stay visa as a souse of an EU national, but am just going round in circles and not getting any information.

Can anyone help me with this as we're wanting to move to France as soon as possible thank

You have to understand that the EU law is different from typical visa law. You apply for a visa to get into the country, and then you have the right to stay, which does not depend on the validity of the visa.

Once you are in France, you should apply for a "registration certificate", and your spouse for a "residence card". I assume that you also have to register in a number of places.
