    Hi Everyone,

I'm a US citizen and my Husband is a UK citizen. I recently received a UK Fiance visa and came over here and got married on the 28th or July. Now I'm looking to apply for a Spousal visa.

I was wondering if anyone knows do I send in my passport with my maiden name on it for the Spousal visa or do I need to get a new one with my married name on it?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

No, you can use the passport in your maiden name. The visa, however, will be issued in your maiden name. You can change it either before or after, but you definitely don't have to. If there is a situation where you must prove your identity in your married name, just produce your marriage certificate.
