    Hello everybody,

I live in Croatia, but I ve studied in Czech republic. My boyfriend is Czech and we would like to go to Ireland or similar to work. I would like to know, if I marry him in Czech republic, does it mean anything to me in the sense of getting permission to work or it doesn t make any difference? I would also like to know the same thing about other EU countries, if it is not the same everywhere.
    Thanks

According to the EU Law, as soon as you marry an EEA citizen, you automatically inherit the same rights as your EEA spouse has. However, you you need to apply for Residency Permit as confirmation. I would recommend you to come over to the UK because there are a lot of job opportunities here. Since you are a non-EEA national you will have to apply for a visa, and then in order for you to immigrate to the UK, your husband has to either work or study here in order for you to qualify for Residency Permit.
